Ballantyne Strong, Inc. (NYSE Amex: BTN), a global leader in cinema projection products and services, and Barco, a global leader in digital cinema technology, announced today the mutual signing of a professional services agreement wherein Ballantyne’s industry leading service organization, Strong Technical Services, Inc. (STS) will provide Barco with digital cinema projection service and support, including, but not limited to, on-site installation and service as well as ongoing maintenance services for Barco’s customers in the U.S. Financial terms were not disclosed for the one-year, non-exclusive agreement with annual renewal options.

Ballantyne’s STS subsidiary was established in 2006 to serve the growing digital cinema service demands in the market and is now recognized as one of the largest and most capable digital cinema service providers in the industry. STS has built a national team of well qualified digital cinema projection field technicians certified to install and service all digital network configurations and related peripherals.
