Acquisition of additional securities by Exor Investments (UK) LLP
Johannesburg, 12 March 2018: In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act,
No. 71 of 2008 and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
hereby advised that Sibanye-Stillwater has received formal notification from Exor Investments
(UK) LLP “Exor” that it has acquired American Depositary shares (“ADSs”) issued by the Bank
of New York Mellon (“Depositary”), each of which represents 4 ordinary shares issued by
Sibanye-Stillwater to the Depositary. Exor has acquired a beneficial interest in 5.4% of the
issued ordinary shares of Sibanye-Stillwater which beneficial interest is represented by its
holding of 29 299 829 ADSs.
In terms of paragraph 3.66 of the Listings requirements the necessary clearance to deal in the
above securities was obtained.
