UK ILO unemployment rate rose in the November-January 2020 period
In the UK, the ILO unemployment rate rose to 3.9% during the three months to January, from 3.8% during the three months to December.
Euro-zone economic sentiment index declined in March
In the Euro-zone, the economic sentiment index recorded a drop to a level of 49.50 in March, compared to a reading of 10.40 in the previous month. Market expectation was for the index to drop to a level of 35.40.
German economic sentiment index declined in March
In Germany, the economic sentiment index fell to a level of 49.50 in March. In the previous month, economic sentiment recorded a rise to a reading of 8.70.
US advance retail sales dropped in February
In the US, advance retail sales dropped 0.50% on a MoM basis in February. In the prior month, advance retail sales had registered a revised rise of 0.6%.
US housing market index dropped in March
In the US, the housing market index dropped to a level of 72.00 in March. In the prior month, the index had registered a reading of 74.00.
