HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR), announced today that the Company's Environmental Air Solutions business unit has received two orders to supply Duall brand air pollution control systems. The first order is for a Duall chemical scrubber system, which will remove toxic ammonia emissions from an industrial refrigeration and chilling operation at a large pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The second order is for a Duall degasification system for a municipality in the southern United States. The combined total of these orders is more than $800,000. The chemical scrubber system, which will utilize a TRI-STACK(TM) mixed flow exhaust fan from the Company's Strobic Air business unit, and horizontal centrifugal recirculation pumps manufactured by the Company's Fybroc business unit, is expected to ship in the second quarter of the Company's current fiscal year ending January 31, 2011. The degasifier system will be constructed of the business unit's unique NSF approved DUALLast® fiberglass reinforced plastic construction and is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of the Company's current fiscal year. Both systems will be manufactured in the Met-Pro Environmental Air Solutions' Owosso, Michigan facility. "These orders follow more than $1.0 million in orders for Duall brand equipment and systems announced last week," said De Hont. "They represent further examples of Met-Pro's ability to provide synergistic solutions that integrate multi-discipline technologies from the Company's diverse product brands and reinforces the Duall brand's worldwide reputation as a product of choice for field-proven air pollution control systems.
