Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS), the leader in global
electronic design innovation, today announced that the Cadence
Incisive Palladium Dynamic Power Analysis product was recognized
with an EDN Innovation Award honoring outstanding engineering
professionals and products. Palladium Dynamic Power Analysis won in
the "Design Analysis" category.
The Cadence C-to-Silicon Compiler was a finalist in the "Design
Creation and IP" category.
"This award is a welcome acknowledgement of the great work
Cadence engineers do day in and day out to help keep the global
electronics industry moving forward," said Nimish Modi, senior vice
president of research and development for the Front-End Group at
Cadence. "Palladium DPA is an example of the innovative products we
consistently deliver to provide differentiated, value-add solutions
for our customers. We are grateful to EDN's readers and its
editorial staff and Editorial Advisory Board for recognizing the
value this powerhouse product brings to the market."
Palladium Dynamic Power Analysis uniquely enables engineers
using Palladium III for emulation to also analyze software in a
system-level environment. The solution's ability to run various
design or implementation scenarios -- and determine their impact on
power dissipation under a realistic application environment -- is
vital to striking a balance between power budget and expected
performance.
About The EDN Innovation Awards
