TORONTO, Oct. 17, 2019 /CNW/ -- Employment in Canada increased by 28,200 jobs from August to
September according to the September ADP®
Canada National Employment Report. Broadly distributed to
the public each month, free of charge, the ADP Canada National
Employment Report is produced by the ADP Research
Institute®. The report, which is derived from actual ADP
payroll data, measures the change in total nonfarm payroll
employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

"September's softer gain reflected job growth increases in
Trade, Transportation and Utilities, combined with
Professional/Business Services," said Ahu Yildirmaz, vice president
and co-head of the ADP Research Institute. "While most industries
saw minor to modest improvements, Construction and Information saw
notable declines."
The August total of jobs added was revised up from 49,300 to
109,900.
The October 2019 ADP Canada
