Aviva PLC (AV.LN) said Tuesday that Chairman Adrian Montague plans to retire later this year once a successor has been appointed.

The FTSE 100-listed insurer said its board has started a process for the appointment of a successor.

Mr. Montague was appointed chairman of Aviva in April 2015, having joined as a nonexecutive director in January 2013, the company said.
