in Las Vegas, cryptocurrency and blockchain were covered in
multiple track sessions.
In a session entitled 'Bringing Liquidity to the ICO Market: t's
Wall Street Licensed Crypto Token Exchange', Patrick Byrne, CEO of
Overstock.com (OSTK) and Founder of t teased
listeners about a "mystery' announcement. He later in the session
gave details of the tZERO initial coin offering (ICO), utilizing a
Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT), administered as a SAFT
pre-sale through SAFTLaunch.com. tZERO SAFT pre-sale is expected to
open on Nov. 15, 2017 and run until Dec. 31, 2017.
He also said in his talk, "We are offering up to 500 Million
tokens. We think this may be the largest ICO yet that comes to
market."
Byrne made history in December 2016 when Overstock.com issued
the first shares of a public company ever traded on an alternative
trading system (ATS) utilizing the blockchain's distributed ledger
technology.

Apple's (AAPL) co-founder Steve Wozniak
filled the conference room, halls and an overflow room with his
interview session with Deirdre Bosa, Technology Reporter at CNBC.
Entitled, 'The Woz on Empowering Humans with Tech', in the AI Deep
Dive track he also talked about bitcoin and blockchain. "There's a
lot more to this cryptocurrency. There are real strong advantages
to this." Comparing it to gold and the dollar, he said."It's like
gold; its solid and it holds its value. There is a certain finite
amount that can exist; not like the dollar."
He also went on to comment on blockchain saying "I'm a big fan
of blockchain technology."
