                         Placing and Additional Listing


The Wigmore Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce a placing to raise
#495,000, before expenses. The Company will issue 22,000,000 new ordinary shares
of 1p each ("Placing Shares") at a price of 2.25p each to provide additional 
working capital for the Company.

The Company will make application for the Placing Shares to be admitted to
trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on Thursday 15 April 2004.
The Placing Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in
issue.
