       TAYLOR WOODROW, IN CONSORTIUM, AWARDED #50 MILLION
           SOUTH AFRICAN LEISURE DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT

Taylor Woodrow South Africa, in consortium with South African construction
company Grinaker Construction Limited, has commenced work on Tsogo Sun
Holdings' #120 million Montecasino Leisure World development at Fourways in
Johannesburg's northern suburbs.

The project includes the construction of a main casino and retail building, an
entertainment centre, a multi-storey car park, a 250 bed hotel and extensive
external works under a #50 million contract.

A key objective of Tsogo Sun Holdings in undertaking the Montecasino
development is the upliftment of the previously disadvantaged sections of the
local community, and the Grinaker Taylor Woodrow Consortium is supporting this
objective in the recruitment and training of it's workforce, in the
outsourcing of materials and in the award of sub-contracts.

Construction work on the fast track project is scheduled for completion by the
end of October 2000.

Tsogo Sun Holdings (Proprietary) Limited ("Tsogo Sun") is a South African
joint venture company constituted between Tsogo Investment Holdings company
(Proprietary) Limited ("Tsogo Investments") and Southern Sun Gaming
Investments (Proprietary) Limited ("Southern Sun Gaming"), a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Southern Sun Holdings Limited ("Southern Sun").  Southern Sun is
itself a wholly owned subsidiary of  South African Breweries Limited ("SAB").
