TWENTY PLC
DATAFORCE DIVISION WINS CONTRACT
FOR
CANCER RESEARCH'S RACE FOR LIFE
The Board of Twenty plc ("Twenty" or "the Group"), an investment vehicle
focusing on the marketing services sector which earlier this year acquired
Dataforce, a provider of integrated, data-driven, multi channel CRM solutions,
announces today that it has secured a contract for Cancer Research UK's Race for
Life events, which takes place throughout the summer months.
Key points:
* Contract to provide administration, registration and sponsorship payment
services;
* Event is UK's biggest women only fundraising event;
* First major contract win for Dataforce, since acquisition; and
* Dataforce adds Cancer Research UK to growing client portfolio including
Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and DaimlerChrysler.
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, which is in its 13th year, is the UK's
biggest women only fundraising event. Dataforce has been appointed to provide
the administration of the race registration and sponsorship payment process, for
this charitable event, which will see 750,000 women take part in 240 sponsored
races across the UK, this summer.
Dataforce will provide a full variety of campaign services: its Brand Advocacy
Contact Centre helping Race for Life participants with their entry process and
any questions they might have before and after they take part; Mailing and
Fulfilment services sending out race entry packs and merchandise; and,
post-event, processing the anticipated #46million of sponsorship money which
will be received by web, telephone and post.
The Race for Life campaign win underlines Dataforce's leading position in
supporting the charity sector, where its clients include The National Trust,
Wateraid, Greenpeace and Royal National Institute of the Blind.
Ian Lancaster, CEO of Twenty, comments on the win: "Dataforce is delighted to be
working on the ground breaking 'Race for Life' event in partnership with one of
the UK's leading charities, Cancer Research UK. We are focused on recognising
our charity clients' aims, their brand values, and therefore the needs and best
solutions for their potential supporters and donors, and winning the Race for
Life campaign is a real endorsement of our success in doing so."
