                          Appointment of new director

Teleset is pleased to announce that Mr. Yuri Mashintsev has been appointed to
the Board as a Non-executive Director.

Mr Mashintsev is an Executive Director of Templeton Asset Management Ltd, and
his appointment is subsequent to the US$10 million investment in Teleset made by
the Templeton Strategic Emerging Market Fund II in March 2007.
