                           Strathdon Investments plc

                          "Strathdon" or the "Company"

Sale of Interest in Secondaries Business

At the time of the announcement of the interim results on 27th November 2006, it
was announced Strathdon would not be developing its secondaries business further
and that Hugh Stewart had left the Company and was in conversations with the
parties associated with Strathdon's secondaries business to secure an
appropriate way forward for that business under his private leadership.

Strathdon today announces that it has reached agreement to sell two wholly owned
subsidiary companies, Strathdon Finance Limited and Strathdon Secondaries
General Partner Limited to Shackleton Ventures Limited, a newly incorporated
company controlled by Hugh Stewart. Aggregate consideration for these entities
will be approximately #50,000, which represents their expected net asset value
at completion. Completion of the sale of Strathdon Finance Limited is
conditional on the consent of the Financial Services Authority to a change in
control of that entity.

This transaction constitutes a related party transaction under the AIM rules.
The Directors of the Company consider, having consulted with their nominated
adviser Seymour Pierce Limited, that the terms of the transaction are fair and
reasonable insofar as shareholders are concerned

The disposal of these subsidiaries severs all Strathdon's ties with the
secondaries business and thereby removes Strathdon's commitment to the Strathdon
Secondaries Limited Partnership which was approximately #180,000.
