                        Result of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of Southern Rock was held today.

The Company is pleased to announce that all resolutions put to shareholders were
duly passed.

The Chairman explained that, as noted in the notice of the meeting, the annual
accounts were not yet available and that they would be laid before a General
Meeting in due course. Accordingly, the first resolution (to receive any
accounts laid before the meeting) was not put to the meeting.
