       VISION AND SIEMENS TO JOINTLY MARKET CMOS SENSORS


On  March  6,  1998, following a sharp increase in  its  share
price,  VISION  Group  plc ("VISION"  or  "the  Company")  was
required to announce that it was holding discussions regarding
the  formation  of  commercial alliances  which  included  the
possibility of an offer for the Company.

Following these discussions the Company is pleased to announce
that   it   is  negotiating  an  agreement  with  Siemens   AG
("Siemens")  whereby  VISION and Siemens will  jointly  market
VISION's CMOS image sensors on a worldwide basis.

This  agreement  will cover a wide range of markets  including
the emerging desktop videoconferencing market, and the digital
still camera market where the companies are already engaged in
collaborative  development.  It is  anticipated  that  further
collaboration on systems development for specific applications
could follow.

These discussions do not involve an offer for the Company  and
no other such discussions are ongoing.
