Preliminary Results and Annual Report

Peterhead Group plc announces that its results for the year ended 31 January,
1998 will be announced on 15th August, 1998 and its annual report and accounts
published  by 31st August, 1998. The Group has been granted a derogation by
the Stock Exchange permitting this extension in time because the Group is in
continuing negotiations on the disposal of certain Group assets and in raising
new equity finance.
