Electronic Data Processing PLC (the "Company") announces that it was notified on
6 December 2006 that Oryx International Growth Fund Limited has increased its
shareholding in the Company to 3,215,000 ordinary shares of 5p each,
representing 13.16 per cent of the issued share capital.  The shares are
registered in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited.
