      Mulberry to open first stand-alone Home Store
 
Mulberry  Group  plc,  the  AIM-listed  leading   English
designer and manufacturer of accessories, ready  to  wear
clothing  and  interior design products, today  announces
the  recent  acquisition of an 8,000  sq  foot  store  on
London's Kings Road.
 
This  will  be  the company's first stand alone  Mulberry
Home  Store.  Currently, the Home Collection is available
in  the Mulberry stores in Bond Street, London, York, the
new  Manchester outlet opening later this month  and  the
Mulberry  concessions in Harvey Nichols  and  Liberty  in
London.
 
The  latest store, which is due to open in November 1997,
will  display an extensive selection of the Mulberry Home
Collection.  As the building has recently been  renovated
to  a high standard, the total cost of the lease and  the
conversion of this store by Mulberry is expected to be as
low as #100,000.
