       Mulberry to Open Manchester Store in October
 
Mulberry   Group  plc,  the  AIM-listed  leading   English
designer  and manufacturer of accessories, ready  to  wear
clothing and interior design products, today announces the
completion of the purchase of its new Manchester store.
 
The   3,000   sq.  ft.  store  in  King  Street,   central
Manchester,  will  be Mulberry's flagship  store  for  the
North  of England.  Following refurbishment, it is due  to
open for business in October and will offer the full range
of  Mulberry products.  The investment in the building and
its renovation amounts to #0.6 million.
 
Commenting  on the store, Roger Saul, Chairman  and  Chief
Executive said:
 
"We  are very pleased to have secured a prime site in such
an  important  and  fast growing commercial  centre.   The
store will, when open, be very similar to our Bond Street,
London  flagship which has been trading for just over  one
year  and  is  already  producing a good  profit  for  the
company."
