MULBERRY GROUP PLC (the "Company")



The Company has issued and allotted 171,180 Ordinary
Shares of 5p each pursuant to the exercise of share
options.  The exercise price was 22p per share.

The ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the
existing ordinary shares of the Company.  Application has
been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on
AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 29 August
2000.
