The Company was informed on 25 October 2002 that Legal Investment Management
Limited had an interest in a total of 5,616,883 ordinary shares of 25p each
("Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the Company representing 3.01 per cent of
the total issued share capital of the Company. This follows the acquisition of
82,500 Ordinary Shares by way of a transfer on 24 October 2002.
