The Company was notified on 12 August 2002 that Mr. Gareth Jones, a director of
the Company had purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p each in the company
("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 70p on 12 August 2002. This purchase
represents 0.027% of the current total issued ordinary share capital.

Following this acquisition Mr. Jones has a beneficial interest in the Company's
issued ordinary share capital of 50,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.027% of
the Company's total issued ordinary share capital.
