                     APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR) ("Libertas Capital" or "the Company"), the
financial services firm listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the
London Stock Exchange (AIM), is pleased to announce that Sven Skarendahl, aged
61, will join the Company's Board as Non Executive Director with immediate
effect. He is currently Non Executive Chairman of Libertas Capital Nordic AB,
our recently formed Nordic operations. Sven is a Swedish national and has been
UK resident since 1997. He has 25 years experience running multinational
companies in Europe. His other interests include Chairman of Framfab AB (a
Swedish quoted internet consultancy), a Non Executive Director of Nordnet AB (a
Swedish quoted internet share broker) and a board member of the British Swedish
Chamber of Commerce in Stockholm.

In accordance with paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules, Sven
Skarendahl's past and present Directorships over the past five years are listed
below:-

Libertas Capital confirms that, save for the above, there are no other matters
under paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM rules to be announced with respect
to Sven Skarendahl.

On the same date Tom Teichman has resigned from the Board as he wishes to devote
more time to his other Directorships.

Commenting on the announcement, Jakob Kinde, Executive Chairman of Libertas
