                     APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR) ("Libertas Capital" or "the Company"), the
financial services firm listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the
London Stock Exchange (AIM), is pleased to announce that Michael Naylor, aged
40, will join the Company's Board as Non Executive Director with immediate
effect. Michael is a director and co-founder of NMH Search, a leading European
executive search company, and he is considered to be one of the leading
specialists in executive search within the renewable energy sector. Michael
began his career with the Lisbon office of an S G Warburg joint venture. He has
international experience, having established offices for Dixon, Delves and
Andrews in Texas and South America. Michael has recently been appointed to the
Steering Committee of the American Council on Renewable Energy ("ACORE") and the
Green Power Working Group, a government sponsored project.

In accordance with paragraph (f)  of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules, Michael
Naylor's past and present Directorships over the past five years are listed
below:-

Libertas Capital confirms that, save for the above, there are no other matters
under paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM rules to be announced with respect
to Michael Naylor.
