       Carlson Leisure Group (UK) Limited ("CLG(UK)")
           Recommended Cash Offers ("Offers") for
              Inspirations plc ("Inspirations")
                              
        Offers declared unconditional in all respects
                              
                              
At  12.00pm  on  5  September 1997 valid acceptances  of  the
Ordinary  Offer  had been received in respect  of  28,607,140
Ordinary Shares representing approximately 89.9 per  cent  of
the  issued Ordinary Share capital of Inspirations and  valid
acceptances  of  the Convertible Offer had been  received  in
respect   of   12,539,808  Convertible  Shares   representing
approximately  99.0 per cent of the issued Convertible  Share
capital of Inspirations.
 
Prior  to the announcement of the Offers on 24 July 1997  CLG
(UK)  did not hold any Ordinary Shares or Convertible Shares.
Since  the announcement on 24 July 1997 CLG (UK) has acquired
2,429,413 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 7.6  per
cent  of  the  issued Ordinary Share capital of Inspirations.
By  12.00pm on 5 September 1997, therefore, CLG (UK) owned or
had  received acceptances in respect of a total of 31,036,553
Ordinary Shares representing approximately 97.5 per  cent  of
the issued Ordinary Share capital of Inspirations.
 
All  other conditions of the Offers having been satisfied  or
waived,  CLG (UK) is, therefore, declaring both the  Ordinary
Offer   and  the  Convertible  Offer  unconditional  in   all
respects.   The Offers will remain open for acceptance  until
further notice.
