Results of the Annual General Meeting
17 May 2010 - Evraz Group (LSE: EVR) ("Evraz" or the "Company") announces that
at its Annual General Meeting held today in Luxembourg all the resolutions were
passed.
In particular, the shareholders approved the Directors' Report and the
consolidated and stand-alone financial statements for the year ending December
31, 2009, determined the level of directors' and CEO's remuneration and
re-appointed Ernst & Young as Evraz's external auditor.
The shareholders approved the proposal not to pay annual dividends for 2009.
At the AGM, it was decided that the number of directors be reduced from ten to
nine. The shareholders expressed their gratitude to non-executive independent
directors Mr Delaunois and Mr Campbell for their valuable contribution to the
Company's development.
The following directors have been appointed:

· Ms Olga Pokrovskaya
· Mr Terry J. Robinson

· Mr Eugene Tenenbaum

Mr Karl Gruber and Mr Gordon Toll are new members of the Board.
Mr Karl Gruber has extensive experience in the international metallurgical plant
business. Mr Gruber held various management positions, including eight years as
a member of the Managing Board of VOEST-ALPINE Industrieanlagenbau (VAI), first
as Executive Vice President of VAI and then as Vice Chairman of the Managing
Board of Siemens VAI. He also served as Chairman on the Boards of Metals
Technologies (MT) Germany, MT Italy.
Mr Gordon Toll is chairman of FERROUS Resources Limited, an iron ore development
company in Brazil. His career has included Deputy Chairman, Ivanhoe Mines and
Group Mining Executive, Rio Tinto, key positions with BHP Iron Ore, followed by
executive appointments with Texasgulf Inc and Atlantic Richfield Coal. Mr Toll
was previously Chairman of Fortescue Metals Group Limited. Mr Toll is a member
of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a Member of
the Institute of Directors [MIoD (UK)].
The Company has forwarded two copies of the resolutions passed at the AGM to the
Document Viewing Facility of the UK Listing Authority, where they will shortly
