Diageo Sells Gleneagles Hotel for Undisclosed Sum

LONDON--Diageo PLC (DGE.LN) said Wednesday it has sold
Gleneagles Hotel Ltd. to a private investment group led by
Ennismore for an undisclosed sum, as it isn't a core business for
the spirits maker.
Gleneagles Hotel was opened in 1924 and has been wholly owned by
Diageo since 1984, Diageo, which houses the Johnnie Walker, Crown
Royal, J B, Buchanan's, and Smirnoff brands among its portfolio,
said.
