David Bulman has notified the board of Compact Power of his wish to resign as a
director with immediate effect. He will continue to collaborate in project
development activities, both as a consultant on matters relating to planning and
other authorisations, and as a developer of projects that offer potential for
Compact Power technology.



Compact Power will therefore continue to benefit from David's skill and
experience. However, in accepting his resignation the Board would like to thank
him for the major contribution which he has made to the development of the
Company from its inception.



In the announcement of its preliminary results on 28 September 2006, the Company
indicated that it expected to have sufficient cash to meet its requirements
until the middle of November.



It now expects its current resources to be sufficient to allow it to finalise a
contract to supply a prototype biomass plant.  Once signed, this contract is
expected to result in an immediate payment to the Company of sufficient funds to
enable it to meet its obligations until at least the end of the current calendar
year.  The Directors expect the contract for the supply of the biomass plant to
be finalised in the next two weeks.
