APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTORS

The Board of Bidcorp Plc, the Shipping, Automotive Services and Property &
Outsourced Services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of two
Independent Non-Executive Directors.

Mr Anthony Cooke, aged 60, has wide business experience, including commercial
shipping. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1964 and gained a masters
degree at London Business School in 1970. He led the management buy-out of
Ellerman Lines Plc in 1985 and it's subsequent sale to Trafalgar House in 1987.
Recently he was Chairman of Andrew Weir Shipping Limited and was President of
The Chamber of Shipping in 1997.

Anthony is currently a director of The Baltic Exchange Limited and James Fisher
& Sons Plc and is also Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

Mr Brian Connellan, aged 62, has many years of diverse experience. He qualified
as a Chartered Accountant (S.A.) in 1964 and ran several manufacturing and
distributing operations within the Barlow Rand Limited group, joining the board
in 1985 as Chairman of it's building material, steel and paint division. He
moved to Nampak Limited in 1990 where he was Chairman until 2001 but remains as
a non-executive director. He is a director of several large listed companies in
South Africa,

Brian was a Council member of the S.A. Foundation, The Institute of Directors
(South Africa) and the Corporate Forum and was also a contributor to both King I
and King II Code on Corporate Governance, South Africa.

The Board is confident that with the wide experience and knowledge that both
Brian and Anthony will bring to the Group that they will play an important role
in the growth of Bidcorp.

The Board can confirm that there is no additional relevant information to
disclose under paragraphs 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules in relation to
either appointment.
