PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING

Andrews Sykes Group plc announces that today it purchased for cancellation
130,000 Ordinary Shares of 20p each at a price of 112.5p per share.

The issued share capital of the Company is now 72,029,272 Ordinary Shares.

The Company also announces that Jacques Gaston Murray, a director of the
Company, today sold 20,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 112.5p per share.  Mr
J
G Murray is now interested in 50,576,257 Ordinary Shares in the Company
representing 70.22 per cent. of the issued share capital.
