Turkcell’s Ukrainian Subsidiary life:) Launches Communication Application BiP with VoIP and Video-over-IP Features

Turkcell’s (NYSE:TKC)(BIST:TCELL) wholly-owned subsidiary life:)
has announced the launching of BiP, Turkcell’s IP-based
communication application, in Ukraine. Similar to the experience
offered in Turkcell’s home country Turkey, BiP in Ukraine will come
with voice and video call features in addition to messaging.
Users in Ukraine will be able to download BiP, which now
additionally supports Ukrainian, Russian and Belarussian languages,
on iOS and Android platforms through App Store and Play Store. The
application is currently available for free to all smartphone
users, and life:) subscribers will also benefit from free data when
using BiP.
7 Months after Ukraine's First 3G Launch, life:) Introduces
VoIP and Video-over-IP

A product developed entirely in Turkey, BiP offers voice and
video call options, group chat, and secret chat feature. It allows
users to create and share internet memes, and comes with a wide
range of “stickers” – humoristic cartoons designed specifically for
the app.
The application, which was previously available in Turkish and
English, now supports 5 languages: Turkish, English, Ukrainian,
Belarussian and Russian. Turkish and English versions were already
downloaded 4.2 million times in 169 countries prior to the launch
of the product in Ukraine.

September 30th, 2015, became the first operator in Ukraine to offer
3G services earlier this year with its 3G+. It is the market leader
