Item 2.02 Other Events.

On January 17, 2023, The Travelers Companies, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing preliminary results of the Company’s operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2022, including the Company’s initial estimate for catastrophe losses primarily resulting from the significant winter storm in late December. The press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is hereby incorporated by reference in this Item 2.02.
