--Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is hiring 300 new graduates and young engineers for its plant in Arizona, Nikkei Asia reports, citing an interview with TSMC Chairman Mark Liu.

--A group of more than 300 current staff will also be sent to help start operations at the U.S. plant, the Nikkei report said.
