SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology, health and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, today announced that it has been selected as a prime contractor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Information Management Services (CIMS) contract, specifically the Management Consulting and Information Management Services domains. The multi-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract covers projects across CDC, with a total value to all awardees of these two domains of $4 billion over 10 years.

CIMS Management Consulting projects may include strategic planning and PMO activities, while Information Management projects may focus on public health program support and related information system development. “In the 21st century, public health is confronting new challenges, including caring for aging populations, worldwide obesity and combating emerging infectious diseases,” said SRA Senior Vice President Steve Tolbert. “The CDC continues to demonstrate leadership and innovation in addressing these challenges – and to support CDC in these efforts, SRA will continue to deliver our deep expertise in information technology, public health and management consulting. In partnership with CDC, SRA is prepared to address the evolving public health and information management challenges of the next decade.”
