Transportation Security Administration to entrust SRA with development of cyber security operations center FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, announced it has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) under the EAGLE contract vehicle to monitor their information technology (IT) enterprise and assess IT security threats. The task order value is over $53 million, if all options are exercised, and will provide core primary and failover security operations center (SOC) services for up to five years. TSA is responsible for security of the nation's transportation systems involving cooperation with state, local and regional partners. To maintain the highest levels of security, TSA requires a partner to monitor their IT enterprise by detecting, analyzing and coordinating the response to cyber attacks. SRA will provide a fully outsourced SOC solution that leverages robust physical and technology platforms with proven SOC operations best practices.
