The task order, awarded in September under the USTRANSCOM Advisory and Assistance Services contract, has an estimated value of $14.9 million over five years, if all options are exercised. Under this task order, the SRA team will support USTRANSCOM's strategic concept development and provide analytical services encompassing distribution business practices. Specific tasks include supporting and coordinating the integration of Distribution Process Owner (DPO) activities, analyzing Defense Department and commercial business information to support new or on-going USTRANSCOM business and distribution initiatives, and assisting in the development of USTRANSCOM command-level strategic guidance and documents.
