Irwin Mortgage Corporation Wins Award from Indianapolis AIA for Building Design INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Irwin Mortgage Corporation's national headquarters building was recognized by the Indiana Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (Indianapolis AIA) at their "Excellence in Architecture" awards ceremony, Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Don Kincaid, the owner of the building, and Bob Griffith, president and CEO of Irwin Mortgage accepted the award. The furniture was selected from popular names in modern design, including Pensi, Eames and Mies van der Rohe. The pieces were chosen to reflect the clean, simple lines of the building. The building's design came from internationally recognized architect Carlos Jimenez, whose work has been linked to the new wave of Spanish and Latin American architects. His creations are known for their purity of form, use of bold color and sophisticated ordering of spaces.
