MEDIA, Pa., June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- InfraSource Services, Inc. (NYSE:IFS), one of the largest specialty contractors servicing utility transmission and distribution infrastructure in the United States, today announced three key personnel appointments aimed at positioning the Company to achieve its strategic goals. Steve Hicks has been appointed President of Dashiell Ltd., a premier supplier of specialty high-voltage electrical substations, transmission lines, and switchyards for electric utilities, industrial companies and independent power producers. Mr. Hicks joined InfraSource in 2004 when the Company acquired EnStructure Corporation where Steve served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to EnStructure, Mr. Hicks held various positions during his eighteen year tenure at Willbros Group. Doug Link has been named Senior Vice President, Business Development. In his new role, Mr. Link will be responsible for leadership and integration of the Company's business development and marketing activities, including strategic customer acquisition. He brings over thirty years of contracting and construction management experience, having most recently served for the last six years as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning of Par Electric, a Quanta company. Jim Urbas has been appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Mr. Urbas will be responsible for overseeing all of the Company's human resource strategies and services. Most recently, Mr. Urbas was the Vice President of Human Resources for the MYR Group. In a career spanning over twenty-five years, Mr. Urbas has served in various executive positions in several industries, including construction, utility infrastructure, manufacturing, telecommunications and industrial chemicals.
