Intercontinental Exchange Inc. is guiding for $400 million or more in capital expenditures for the 2021 fiscal year.

The company said it expects those expenditures to be between $400 million and $430 million. Intercontinental Exchange had $410 million in capital expenditures and capitalized software development costs for 2020.

The New York Stock Exchange operator expects between $3.465 billion and $3.515 billion in operating expenses, it said. On an adjusted basis, it expects those expenses to be between $2.83 billion and $2.88 billion.

For the first quarter, Intercontinental Exchange expects operating expenses to be between $885 million to $895 million. It expects those costs to be between $720 million and $730 million on an adjusted basis.

The company is guiding for first-quarter non-operating expense of between $97 million and $102 million. It expects that expense to be between $105 million and $110 million on an adjusted basis.

Intercontinental Exchange is expecting between 562 million and 568 million in weighted average shares outstanding for its first quarter.
