Demonstrating its leadership and strength in the power management
marketplace, Ingram Micro Inc.'s Advanced Computing Division (NYSE:
IM) today announced it has been recognized by diversified power
management company Eaton as U.S. Distribution Partner of the Year
for its outstanding sales performance in 2012.
Additionally, Ingram Micro's elite VentureTech Network (VTN)
community earned Eaton's inaugural Peer Group of the Year Award and
VTN member En-Net Services, LLC was named as Top Public Sector
Value-Added Reseller (VAR). All three awards were presented at
Eaton's annual partner conference earlier this year.
"In 2012, Ingram Micro's Advanced Computing Division delivered
exceptional performance and partner engagement," says Hervé Tardy,
vice president and general manager, Distributed Power Quality,
Eaton. "We're very proud to combine our innovation in power
management with Ingram Micro and the expertise and enablement of
their Advanced Computing Division, as well as the influence and
buying power of its VTN community, to grow our business and
continue providing customers with value-adding solutions."
Eaton has a long-standing relationship with Ingram Micro's
Advanced Computing Division and joined the VTN community as a
sponsoring vendor in 2010. In 2012, Eaton achieved impressive sales
growth and partner engagement by leveraging Ingram Micro's
dedicated team of advanced computing sales, marketing and technical
support experts. As a result, Eaton grew its reach, expanded its
partner resources and gained sales momentum with its Intelligent
Power Software Suite™, an innovative pairing of power management
and protection software that allows users to monitor and manage
their entire power system from a single dashboard, or directly from
major virtualization platforms.
"Ingram Micro's Advanced Computing Division and VTN partner
community have become growth catalysts for Eaton and its
PowerAdvantage® Partner Program," says Scott Zahl, vice president
and general manager, Ingram Micro Advanced Computing Division, U.S.
"By keeping our focus on execution, Ingram Micro delivered
measurable business value to Eaton and our mutual channel partners.
We're pleased to see Eaton recognize the positive impact our
Advanced Computing Division and VTN community are having on their
continued success."
