(NASDAQ:NSTC), a global provider of IT solutions and services, today announced that it has been awarded an outsourcing contract with Israel's Assuta Medical Centers, the largest private organization in Israel providing medical services. The project is valued at $16 million over 8 years. Under the terms of the contract, Assuta will outsource its IT operations to Ness Technologies. The project includes replacing Assuta's core systems with new generation IT systems. Ness Technologies will also absorb the employees of Assuta's IT department. The process is being conducted in cooperation and coordination with Assuta's employees. Assuta Medical Centers is owned by Maccabi Healthcare Services. Replacing Assuta's IT systems with advanced and modern systems will improve the medical services system, including improving customer service and providing additional tools to the medical and administrative personnel.
