PR Newswire (US)
WEST CHESTER, Pa., April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ComCam
International, a subsidiary of ComCam, Inc. (OTC:CMCA) (BULLETIN
BOARD: CMCA) , announced the release of a facial recognition
breakthrough that provides high accuracy with minimal data
requirements. The IVA (Intelligent Video Analysis) system developed
by Alparysoft and ComCam was designed to operate with low bandwidth
video. The efficient scalable architecture allows a single
recognition server to manage large numbers of cameras over standard
networks. IVA is the first result of a collaborative effort and
license agreement between ComCam, Inc. and Alparysoft Research and
Development of Tomsk, Russia. According to ComCam CEO Don
Gilbreath, "This is amazing technology, a high-performance scalable
feature extraction module with an unmatched price performance
point. It's a great way to add facial recognition to new and
existing access control systems. We welcome Alparysoft to our
family of technology partners for intelligent distributed video
solutions and look forward to developing new products together."
ComCam will be demonstrating IVA at a series of US domestic shows
in April, including ISC West Las Vegas, the 78th Annual AAAE
Conference and Exposition in San Diego, and the GovSec Conference
and Exposition in Washington, DC. A demo applet is available from
