Apple Inc. (AAPL) on Thursday said it is recalling certain AC wall plug adapters because they could pose a risk of electrical shock.

Apple said the adapters, designed for use primarily in Hong Kong, Singapore and the U.K., were shipped with Mac and some iOS devices between 2003 and 2010 and also were included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.

Apple said that in rare cases, the three-prong adapters could break, creating a risk of electrical shock. The Cupertino, Calif., company said it is aware of six incidents worldwide.

The number of adapters involved in the recall wasn't immediately available.

Apple previously recalled two-prong adapters shipped from 2003 to 2015 for use in Continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina and Brazil due to a similar issue.
