Airbus Exits Canadian Fighter Jet Competition -Reuters

--Airbus SE (AIR.FR, EADSY) on Friday said it would no longer be
part of a competition to supply Canada with new fighter jets,
Reuters reports.
--The move by Airbus boosts the chances of Lockheed Martin Corp.
(LMT) to obtain the contract for 88 new planes, the report
said.
--Airbus had complained the process seemed to favor the F-35,
which is produced by Lockheed Martin, the report said.
