Air Liquide SA said Tuesday that it would invest nearly 200
million euros ($217.3 million) on hydrogen and oxygen plants in the
Science Parks of Tainan and Hsinchu, respectively in the south and
north of Taiwan.
The French industrial-gases producer said its majority owned
joint-venture Air Liquide Far Eastern would build, own and operate
ultra-high purity hydrogen and oxygen plants in each basin.
The joint venture will also deliver two plants in Hsinchu for
the production of high-purity nitrogen and argon, Air Liquide
said.
