This release includes a comprehensive series of enhancements across the company�s Care-Based Revenue Cycle solutions for Access and Identity Management, Care Management, Health Information and Revenue Cycle Management. To improve efficiency and safety, the QuadraMed M5 release adds enhanced capability to track ED patients in the Access Management products. And to increase productivity in Health Information Management (HIM) departments, the release provides for improved workflow by centralizing access to the information used to efficiently code an encounter using the Medical Records Abstract/DRG product. Within QuadraMed�s Revenue Cycle Management solution, a major upgrade was made to the manner in which clinicians are identified and associated with a patient�s visit. The Revenue Cycle Management products now include support for the National Provider Identifier and identifying clinicians in roles other than physician. The highly rated QuadraMed EDI applications now provide greater support to the evolving use of 835 for posting payments and adjustments, and process enhancements were made for use in the creation of 837 electronic claims.
