components, announced today the demonstration of a 100Gbps
integrated TOSA reference platform for CFP2 transceivers at
OFC/NFOEC booth #1531 in San Francisco, California.

About the BrPhotonics Live Demonstration
At OFC/NFOEC booth #1531, BrPhotonics products have a live
demonstration of a 100Gbps Integrated TOSA Reference Platform for
CFP2 Transceivers with partners CPqD and GigOptix.
In partnership with GigOptix and CPqD, BrPhotonics will
demonstrate a coherent optical link design for 100Gbps long-haul
communication with an integrated CFP2 TOSA and separate receive
path circuitry. The integrated CFP2 TOSA and Reference Platform
include a BrPhotonics 100Gbp DP-QPSK TFPS™ modulator chip, a
GigOptix GX62472 linear quad MZM driver, and an independent tunable
laser. Discrete coherent receiver devices and GigOptix bias boards
are also located in the reference design. The demonstration setup
provides X and Y polarization observation via optical constellation
analyzer, and eye diagram display on a real-time sampling
scope.

100Gbps DP-QPSK coherent long-haul optical transmitters and for use
in advanced multi-level modulation systems
