Amazon.Com, Inc. said Monday it was expanding its partnership with Water.org in an effort to provide safe water for millions.

Amazon said it will help launch the Water.org Water & Climate Fund, which is focused on "climate-resilient water and sanitation solutions that will result in lasting access for 100 million people across Asia, Africa and Latin America."

Amazon said it will donate $10 million to assist Water.org's efforts. Amazon's donation will "kickstart one of the largest private investment portfolios in water and climate to date," the company said.

Since 2020, Amazon and Water.org have worked together to "provide clean water and sanitation to 250,000 people in communities in India and Indonesia," according to the company.
