BP Shareholders Reject Shareholder Resolution on Climate Change Targets

Oil major BP PLC said Wednesday that shareholders have rejected
a shareholder resolution on climate change targets by a large
majority.
The company said that only 20.65% of shareholders voted in favor
of the resolution, which the board had originally recommended
shouldn't be approved.
"We will continue to engage with shareholders on our strategy,
targets and aims so as to ensure their views are fully understood,"
it said.
