--Apple Inc. (AAPL) introduced an online portal that will allow users in the U.S. to access and download data the company holds on them, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

--The company launched a similar portal in Europe earlier this year, in order to comply with European data regulation rules, the report said.

--Users will be able to download information such as address book contacts, music streaming preferences and Apple product repairs, the report said.
